Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of auroramentors.com (the "Service"), operated by Aneesh Mohan (an individual based in India) ("Aurora", "we"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What Aurora is

Aurora provides free educational information about studying in Germany and a marketplace connecting students with independent, verified mentors for paid 1:1 sessions, and optional document feedback and webinars.

2. Not professional advice

Aurora is independent and is not a licensed immigration adviser, agent, or educational consultancy. Information and mentor opinions are for general guidance only and are not legal, immigration, financial, or admission advice. We do not guarantee admission, a visa, a scholarship, or any outcome. Always confirm official requirements with the relevant university and the German Missions in India.

3. Mentors are independent

Mentors are independent individuals, not employees or agents of Aurora. We verify proof of enrolment in good faith but do not guarantee a mentor's advice, availability, or conduct. Sessions are between you and the mentor.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is via Google. Don't misuse the Service, scrape it, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.

5. Payments

Paid sessions and services are charged in INR via Razorpay. Prices are shown before payment. A mentor's private contact details are released only after a successful, verified payment. See our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

6. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. posts, notes). By submitting content for publication you grant Aurora a non-exclusive licence to display it. Don't post unlawful, infringing, or misleading content.

7. Intellectual property

Aurora's content, guides, and brand are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or republished without permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurora is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts, advice, or omissions of mentors or third-party providers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
